New Year, new you?! It is almost end of the January, how far did we get?
Many people see New Year as opportunity to return to healthy life style after the excesses of Christmas, but the most important thing about January is moderation not deprivation, there is no quick fix! With January over, (New Year resolution most likely is gone by now as well) its time to talk about realistic plans for your health and wellbeing.
Tempted to cut carbs? Sack off rest days? I want to talk to you about not going to the extremes, because they are easy option. I want to give you realistic advise for the rest of the year not just January.
Are you ready?
1.Move more
Doesn’t have to be complicated just start by adding more steps to your daily routine.
2.Qaulity over quantity
We don’t need to slave away in the gym to get fit and healthy. 3-4 times a week, 30-45 min, it’s more then enough.
3.Make it social
Why not invite friend to come and try new gym class with you?
4.Set goals
Give your workout a bit more purpose. Think about your long-term goal, perhaps it is running 5km? Break it down into monthly, weekly and daily goals, so you can stay on track for your target.
5.Get help!
There is not harm in asking for help if you are unsure about what is the best for you. There are so many resources out there to help you – jus make sure you are getting all advise (especially online) from professionals in their fields.
